Her support system! Chrissy Teigen was the guest of honor at a baby shower in NYC on Wednesday, February 21 — four months before she’s set to welcome her second child with John Legend.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, 32, opened up about the surprise and intimate bash on social media.
“These are my best girlfriends on the planet. I have a surprise baby shower,” Teigen said in a video as she sat around a table with some of her closest gal pals. In the comments section, she added: “Man. Ain’t nothin like girlfriends. Love you guys so much. Thank you for loving me back #twobabyclub.”
Teigen and Legend, 39, announced in November 2017 that they are expecting a baby boy. The little one will join big sister Luna, now 22 months.
The Lip Sync Battle cohost opened up about her marriage to the musician while attending the Chase Sapphire Sundays event in L.A. over the summer. “I try to deprecate him because he’s so perfect. I got very, very lucky,” she exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “I don’t know who else could put up with all the s–t we are constantly dealing with. Kids, friends and work are hard, but John is the easiest part of everything.”
She jokingly added: “I told him the No. 1 reason we are not getting divorced is because I refuse to see another woman with my baby.”
