Jana Kramer is a proud expectant mommy! The actress and country crooner, 34, took to social media to show off her growing baby bump with a sweet shot of herself cradling her unborn babe in a floral Astars dress.
The “I Got Boy” singer revealed she and husband Mike Caussin were expecting their second child in June with a family photo posted to Instagram “Surprise! We have a rainbow baby on the way & couldn’t be more excited!” she wrote at the time. “Jolie is going to be a big sister & we’re becoming a family of 4!”
The news was especially happy for the Dancing With the Stars alum, who has been open with fans about her struggles with fertility.
Earlier this month, she took to social media in tears as she reflected on the multiple miscarriages she has suffered in her journey to conceive.
As Kramer revealed, she lost two embryos that had been implanted via IVF early on in her and Caussin’s relationship. (The couple recently celebrated their third anniversary after enduring an infidelity scandal in 2016 when Us Weekly exclusively revealed that Caussin cheated on his wife with multiple women.)
Though she became pregnant with her 2-year-old daughter Jolie soon after, she would experience heartbreak again following her child’s birth when she lost another baby at just seven and a half weeks.
In October 2017, the Support the Girls star opened up to fans about her most recent miscarriage at nine weeks. “1-3. Today I am 1-3,” she shared alongside of photo of herself crying, adding, “I debated posting this for the exact reason why it’s a silent struggle. I don’t want I’m sorry or sympathy. I just don’t want to feel alone. And I know I’m not.”
As the musician shared on a recent episode of her podcast, Whine Down, she was admittedly fearful for her baby’s health in the early stages of her current pregnancy. “It’s just such a scary process because it’s a true miracle … I mean, it seems so easy, when you look at some people, but other time’s it’s like, it’s a miracle,” she said. “It’s been a tough journey. We lost our last two pregnancies, so it’s been really tough.”
Kramer credits her current pregnancy to the Ava bracelet, a device which aims to help women track their cycles in order to increase their chances of becoming pregnant. “A lot of you have asked if it’s just an ad or if it really worked and this post is not an ad,” she wrote in the caption of her most recent post. “It’s to say we trusted @avawomen and ended up with this sweet bump. So forever thankful.”
