Mama Regi is so happy with her lil dude! Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Regina Spektor announced Tuesday, April 1, that she has welcomed her first child, a boy, with husband Jack Dishel.
"I wanted to let you know that Jack and I have been happily hanging out with our new little son and that all is going great!" she wrote on her Facebook page. "Thank you for the tons of well wishes and good vibes- we wish them all right back at ya."
The couple provided no further details about their newborn's name or birthdate.
"As you may have noticed, we're pretty private so we won't be posting any pictures or updates about him," the "On the Radio" crooner explained. "But we can report that he's super CUTE!!!"
The "Fidelity" singer announced she was expecting her first child with singer-songwriter Dishel back in January, when she told fans she would not be making her Grammys debut because she was "super pregnant at the moment."
The Moscow-born, New York-based singer scored her first Grammy nominee in the Best Song Written for Visual Media category for the Orange Is the New Black theme song, "You've Got Time." Spektor wrote the haunting hit exclusively for Jenji Kohan, the creator of the Netflix series.
Dishel and Spektor married back in 2011. The happy new mommy signed off her letter Tuesday with "mama regi & papa jack (and lil dude too :))."
