Hear her roar! Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi stood up for her 6-year-old son, Lorenzo, when an Instagram troll criticized his clothing.
The negative comments began when the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star, 31, posted pictures of her son performing at his school in an American flag tee, black shorts and sneakers on Friday, June 14. “My first offspring just sang his heart out,” the reality star captioned the upload. “#proudmawma.”
“Do you have that lil boy wearing sketchers [sic] and you got a Gucci hat on SMH,” one of Polizzi’s followers commented. Another went on to say, “I was just gonna day [sic] why does her son look like that and she’s rocking nice name brand gear? Some parents’ priorities.”
The MTV personality clapped back on her Instagram Story, writing, “Really? So my parent priorities for you is that my kid isn’t wearing name brand clothes because I have a Gucci hat on? That defines me as a parent? You’re an idiot.”
The A Shore Thing author, who also shares Giovanna, 4, and Angelo, 2 weeks, with her husband, Jionni LaValle, defended her mothering skills on Instagram in April after pushing her brood in strollers at Disneyland.
“They walk!” the New Jersey native told her hater. “But in large crowds I prefer they sit their asses down. Saves me the stress of not losing my offspring.”
Polizzi, who always keeps it real, got candid about her postpartum symptoms last month after Angelo’s birth. “The aftermath,” she said in an Instagram Story. “You definitely need these guys. Hazel pads for your butthole. Here’s my underwears, [sic] my pads, my squirt bottle. Pray for me.”
She also shared a photo of her toes, writing, “My feet are swollen, I’m wearing a diaper, my son just peed and s–t on me twice and my sciatica is acting up. Hello postpartum.”
