Gorgeous gift! Katy Perry showed off the present Taylor Swift bought for her and Orlando Bloom’s daughter, Daisy.
“Miss [Daisy Dove] adores her hand embroidered blankie from miss @taylorswift,” the “I Kissed a Girl” singer, 35, captioned a Monday, September 14, Instagram post. “Hope it’s one she drags around for years till it becomes an unrecognizable shred that she keeps in her pocket as a teenager.”
Perry shared a photo of the “Blank Space” singer’s handwritten note, addressed to “Katy and Orlando (and little one).” She also revealed a close-up shot of the pink blanket, embroidered with the words “Baby Bloom” and a flower.
The American Idol judge and her fiancé, 43, welcomed their baby girl last month and announced the news with a photo of the little one’s hand in theirs. Perry’s thumbnail was painted with a daisy in the black-and-white Instagram reveal in August.
“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” she and the actor wrote in a joint statement at the time. “In celebration of the heart we know our daughter already has, we have set up a donation page to celebrate DDB’s arrival. By supporting UNICEF, you are supporting a safe start to life and reimagining a healthier world for every child. We hope your [heart] can bloom with generosity.”
Perry and Swift have a complicated relationship, with their friendship turning into a feud when the Pennsylvania native accused the “Teenage Dream” artist of poaching her backup dancers in a 2014 Rolling Stone interview.
The California native made the first move toward ending their drama in 2019 by mailing a literal olive branch, and she had a cameo in the Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down” music video later that same year.
“It was just, like, something felt so much lighter about my life when things became really good between us,” Swift gushed on Capital Breakfast in June 2019.
