This season, Baltierra is working on overcoming everything she’s afraid of. “I can’t let my fears dictate what I want in life,” she says in the clip, while looking at daughter, Novalee Reign.
“I promise I’m stronger than I look,” Portwood calmly says in the trailer. However, she’s also shown screaming at her ex-fiancé, Matt Baier. “I’m tired of being with someone that walks away. Get out,” she yells at him.
Meanwhile, Bookout is dealing with her ex in the trailer, telling Ryan Edwards that there’s something she needs from him. “As his father, you have to pass a drug test and we are going to be there,” she tells Bentley’s dad. This, of course, is a continuation from the season 6 storyline; the finale ended with Bookout telling Edwards that his alleged abuse could really harm their son.
The last time we saw the Teen Mom OG ladies was on the reunion over the summer. Edward’s wife Mackenzie confronted Bookout and accused her of “exploiting Ryan and his addiction” on the show. She also read a letter to her that read, “You had known about his problems since November. He could have died and still you said nothing.”
In the finale, footage showed Edwards falling asleep at the wheel, and even Dr. Drew said on the reunion that he was alarmed by the footage. Following the reunion, Edwards went to rehab for 30 days.
Teen Mom OG will return to MTV on Monday, November 27 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
