Out in the open. Tristan Thompson was spotted for the first time since he and girlfriend Khloé Kardashian welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Thursday, April 12.
The WKYC Channel 3 – Cleveland shared a photo of the NBA star, 27, sporting a black sweatsuit and white sneakers as he appeared to be leaving a hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, where Kardashian, 33, gave birth earlier on Thursday.
Thompson was last seen in public on Wednesday, April 11, when he played in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ last game of the season before the playoffs. The basketball pro was not received well by attendees in the arena after reports surfaced one day earlier that he cheated on the Revenge Body host throughout her pregnancy. The Daily Mail published photos of him on Tuesday, April 10, locking lips with model Lani Blair at a New York City club on Saturday, April 7. The Shade Room later shared additional photos of the pair walking into NYC’s Four Seasons hotel in the early hours of Sunday, April 8. Blair was photographed leaving the following day with a Louis Vuitton overnight bag.
A source exclusively told Us Weekly that Kardashian was “shell-shocked” and “in total disbelief” upon hearing the news. However, another insider confirmed to Us that Thompson was present for the birth of their daughter and he is “incredibly remorseful” over his infidelity.
“Tristan is making no moves to try and prevent Khloé from leaving and keeping their daughter in Cleveland,” a source revealed to Us, noting that the athlete “doesn’t want to cause Khloé any more pain.”
A second insider echoed, “Tristan has been overcome with emotion and everything changed with Khloé gave birth. He is hoping that Khloe will choose to stay in Cleveland with their daughter, but is’t going to make any demands of her to do so. Khloé’s mom made it very clear to Tristan that it would be very unwise for him to make any moves to keep the baby in Cleveland.”
Another pal close to the Kardashians told Us that Kris Jenner wants the Strong Looks Better Naked Author to return to L.A. with the newborn as soon as possible. Although Kardashian uprooted her life and “fully moved” to Cleveland to be with Thompson, who is based there,” a different source told Us that she is planning to return to California.
Jenner, 62, commented on her daughter’s bundle of joy on Thursday, tweeting that the family is so “blessed.”
