Plot twist! Tyler Hubbard and his pregnant wife, Hayley Hubbard, went to the hospital on Wednesday, September 16 — but not for the reason they expected.
“Well, we are at the hospital,” the Florida Georgia Line member, 33, said in an Instagram video shot in his car. “It’s Hayley’s due date so we should be here having a baby but we’re actually here getting [Olivia’s] chin stitched up. She fell this afternoon in the living room and busted her chin open on the coffee table. I’ve got a lame foot, Hayley’s about to deliver a baby any minute and this is our night.”
When the Georgia native’s 2-year-old daughter asked him whether she was “so brave,” the Grammy nominee replied, “You were. … I’m so proud of you.”
Tyler went on to post pictures of the toddler wearing a hospital gown while speaking to a nurse and then getting stitches. He also shared a shot of Olivia rocking a Band-Aid on her chin, writing, “She’s feeling like a champ today.”
He and Hayley, 33, are also the parents of son Luca, 12 months, and announced in March that baby No. 3 is on the way.
“Little brother, mommy and daddy are having another!” the “This Is How We Roll” singer captioned his Instagram reveal at the time. “We were as surprised as Liv was and as speechless as Luca. #3under3.”
The travel blogger added with a post of her own: “When Luca finds out he’s not the baby anymore. Surprise, here comes Hubbard baby No. 3!”
She and Tyler tied the knot in Idaho in July 2015, nine months after the American Music Award winner’s helicopter proposal. The couple welcomed Olivia two years later, followed by Luca in August 2019.
When the pair aren’t spending time with their little ones, they like to keep the romance alive with date nights. “[It] could be anything from just being at the house to cooking dinner to being in PJs to getting all dressed up and having a fun night out,” Hayley exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2018.
