Going glam! Celebrity parents, including Kelly Ripa and Jerry Seinfeld, are showing off their teenagers’ 2019 prom looks on social media.
“It only took 20 hours, but we finally got two approved prom photos,” the Live With Kelly and Ryan host, 48, captioned an Instagram upload of her 17-year-old daughter, Lola, and her date. “#prom2019.”
In the sweet shot, the high school senior pinned a boutonniere with a smile while rocking a green gown with a slit, simple jewelry and curled strands. Lola also posed for a pic with her mom, who looked prom-ready herself in a patterned wrap dress.
The All My Children alum’s friends gushed over the milestone moment in the comments. “GORGEOUS!” Andy Cohen wrote, while Busy Philipps added: “Omg. So beautiful.”
Seinfeld’s 18-year-old daughter, Sascha, wore a royal blue dress to her prom with matching eye makeup. She grinned with her date in Jessica Seinfeld’s June 6 Instagram post.
“Prom night for Couple of the Year, Sascha and Jack,” the Food Swings author, 47, captioned the outdoor pic.
Jessica opened up about the young couple’s relationship in October 2018, telling Us Weekly exclusively, “We love [Sascha’s boyfriend] so much.”
The Seinfeld alum joked: “Yeah. It’s a shame he’s gonna have to go.” He went on to say that when it comes to his kids’ dating lives, he and his wife are “pretty relaxed” and let them “figure it out on their own.”
These two weren’t the only celebrities to send their teenagers off to prom with a social media tribute this year, though. From Eddie Murphy to Gabrielle Union, even more stars reached this major milestone. Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia, even attended two dances!
