Aaron Carter is ready for November! The pop singer, 28, took to Twitter on Saturday, February 27, to endorse Donald Trump in the race for president of the U.S.
“Does America want to have a president who FOLLOWS or someone who leads?” Carter tweeted in response to one of the GOP candidate’s earlier tweets. “I vote For @realdonaldtrump.”
In Trump’s original tweet, he wrote, “I am self-funding my campaign and am therefore not controlled by the lobbyists and special interests like lightweight [Marco] Rubio or Ted Cruz!”

Soon after endorsing the former Celebrity Apprentice host, Carter defended his decision to angry fans who voiced their disagreement.
“Good thing I live in America and I have the right to my own opinion such as a lot of my NON supporters have for me at times,” he tweeted, before adding, “That’s ok. Losing fans gaining fans all good so what happens when Donald becomes president relax people.”
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie also endorsed the current Republican frontrunner on Friday, February 26.
