Adrienne Maloof is no longer a wife … or a “Housewife.”
After much speculation that she would be let go from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” the 51-year-old made her own announcement on Monday.
“To my loyal fans … It was time to exit RHOBH,” Maloof wrote on her website. “The show served as a wonderful platform for all the amazing projects that I have in the works. I am forever grateful to my fans, thank you for your support, and stay tuned!”
Last week, it was widely reported that Maloof refused to film the upcoming Season 3 “RHoBH” reunion special because she knew her divorce from husband Paul Nassif, who was also a cast member on the reality show, would be topic of conversation … and because of their divorce agreement, she cannot talk about it. So instead of sitting there not being able to defend herself, she instead chose to not be there at all.
Maloof has certainly come a long way since her start on the first season of “RHoBH” in October 2010. At the time, she was a seemingly happy married mother of three. Then last July, during the filming of Season 3, she abruptly separated from Nassif after 10 years of marriage, which turned into one of ugly celebrity divorce battles, between her accusing him of child abuse and him claiming that she drank too much. The two finalized their divorce in November.
But Maloof quickly rebounded … with none other than Rod Stewart’s 32-year-old son, Sean. Although it seemed like a mismatched pairing, omg! did spot the two on a dinner date at Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks, California, in late February – and the sparks were palpable!
In an odd twist, Sean’s stepmother, Penny Lancaster, has been rumored to be joining the next season of “RHoBH,” replacing Maloof.
