Alix Earle is speaking out about popular misconceptions when it comes to her political beliefs.
“I have addressed it, and I just don’t think anyone listens,” Earle, 25, said in her 2026 TIME100 Creators cover story, published on Tuesday, July 14. “My senior year of college I was like, ‘I am not a Trump supporter.’ I don’t personally support him.”
She continued, “I get a lot of questions about that online still. I just tend to not address it every single time because then I feel like I am creating a massive storm.”
Aside from her political beliefs, Earle addressed another misconception: that she does not like people seeing her out and about. The influencer, however, explained that if she is giving a stare, it’s not intentional.
“It’s something I’ve dealt with my whole life: the case of the RBF,” Earle said, joking about her “resting bitch face.” She continued, “When I meet people, they’re like, ‘I thought you were miserable.’ I swear I’m happy.”

In recent months, Earle has made headlines for her falling out with “Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper, whom the influencer had a partnership with under the Unwell Network. After Cooper called out Earle in a video, telling her to “say what you gotta say,” the Dancing With the Stars contestant commented, “On it!”
Earlie has yet to follow up, but she teased on Tuesday that fans might hear more soon.
“It’s something I’m going to talk about on the show,” Earle told TIME, referring to her Netflix series titled Earle Meets World. (Netflix announced in January that Earle and her family are starring in their own unscripted show, which is set to debut this year.)
“That was one of the things in the beginning they wanted me to talk about, and I really wasn’t comfortable sharing,” Earle continued. “Then everything unfolded the way it did while we were filming. There was a serious struggle behind the scenes of emotions, and my family showed up for me. Those moments that sometimes seem so fun for people online, but are hard behind the scenes — I am happy that we were able to capture that.”
Earle explained that she also plans on pulling back the curtain on her family dynamics in the series. While reflecting on the big events with her family she is addressing, Earle shared that she didn’t think those moments would have made it into her YouTube channel.
“Filming has made me realize I do try to share a lot more of the uplifting moments [in my vlogs]. You’re not seeing me in the heat of these emotions. I’m usually coming to you after, when my thoughts are a little bit more collected,” she said. “It’s definitely scary [to let someone else tell my story]. I would think at this point that I would not be scared at all because I’m used to sharing my life online so much.”
