And the gloves have come off! Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood got into a physical fight at the taping of the Teen Mom OG reunion on Saturday, October 22, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly.
The altercation allegedly took place while the Teen Mom OG cast — which included Portwood, 26, and Abraham, 25, as well as Catelynn Lowell and newlywed Maci Bookout — was speaking with Dr. Drew Pinsky for the reunion show.
According to Real Mr. Housewife, Pinsky was asking Abraham and her boyfriend, Simon Saran, about comments Saran had recently made about Portwood’s beau, Matt Baier, when the trouble began. (In a series of Snapchats, Saran essentially called Baier a pedophile while watching episodes of Teen Mom OG.)
Just as it appeared as though Saran was about to apologize, however, Abraham interrupted and asserted, “Well, [Baier] does kind of look like a pedophile,” according to the reality TV site.
At that point, Portwood reportedly stormed onstage to defend her man, and Abraham’s father, Michael, got into the mix to defend his daughter.
Saran later tweeted about the jaw-dropping incident, telling fans, “Recap of reunion: @amberportwood trotting around like a hippo. Matt and another senior citizen in a small scuffle. #teenmomog.”
The cast of Teen Mom OG has been riddled with drama since the two-part season 6 premiere on Monday, August 22, with Bookout, 25, tying the knot with her longtime boyfriend Taylor McKinney on Saturday, October 8, and Lowell, 24, taking time for herself in rehab for mental-health issues.
Teen Mom OG airs on MTV Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
