While Jolie, 39, and Pitt, 50, are tattoo aficionados, the stars are against their children — Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 6 — getting inked themselves. Jolie revealed in the interview that she's already screened requests from Maddox and Zahara about getting permanent body art.

"They're already asking me about tattoos," she said. "How do I say 'No'? It's especially hard for dads and girls. For some reason men get a little more sensitive when the daughter gets a tattoo. And Brad thinks the girls can do no wrong. He's mush in their hands!"

In similar fashion, the A-list mom and dad have also voiced that they would like their children to pursue alternative career paths outside of acting. "We've always said, if they want to act, we won't let them only act, because it's not enough," she explained. "They'll have to find a real job at the same time. But I'm hoping that when they see all the other things in the world, they'll be inspired to be writers, politicians, activists."

Jolie added that she's not worried about their futures. "They're very individual people," she noted. "So I imagine they're not going to follow their mom and dad."

Lately, the kids have been observing their parents' collaborative efforts on By the Sea, their first movie together since 2005's Mr. and Mrs. Smith. "It feels a little daunting," Jolie confessed of her project. "We haven't worked together for 10 years. But all of the reasons why people say we should be scared of it, we feel that's exactly why we have to do this — because we can. So we're going to go boldly."

As for directing her husband on the set of the Malta-filmed movie? "He's a pretty strong actor!" she said of the Fury hunk. "It's going to be interesting. He's a really great artist, such an interesting artist, and of course he's the man I love, so I think we're going to have a great time."
