Blake Shelton Calls Gwen Stefani ‘Hot’ on ‘The Voice’ After Spending Time With Apollo

He has eyes! Blake Shelton was all about his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, on the Monday, March 21, episode of NBC’s The Voice.

Stefani, who served as a coach last season alongside Shelton, returned to the reality competition series to help mentor the country singer’s picks, Jared Harder and Adam Wakefield. (Us Weekly was first to report that Stefani would be returning to the show as a mentor on Team Blake.)

A beaming Shelton, 39, introduced his team members to the “Make Me Like You” singer as “the great Gwen Stefani.”

“Blake wanted to bring in an expert to help you guys,” Stefani, 46, told his picks. “So [he] called me.”

“A country music expert,” Shelton chimed in teasingly, which prompted a protesting Stefani to reply: “I’m getting there, though! I loved working outside of my lane.”

The adorable banter was completed with one note by the charming “Honey Bee” crooner. “Also, she’s hot,” Shelton noted.

The smitten country superstar also spent time with his lady and her youngest son, Apollo Rossdale, earlier that day. Stefani shared Snapchats from the trio’s hike in L.A., including one cute snippet of Shelton bonding with 2-year-old Apollo. The tot and his brothers, Kingston, 9, and Zuma, 7, accompanied their mom to a friend’s wedding this past Saturday, March 19.

Stefani, meanwhile, recently told CBS Sunday Morning in an interview that she hit the lowest of lows after her split from Gavin Rossdale. “I had no skin, it was so raw, you know what I mean?” she said on March 20. “During that time period, I felt like, I was down all the way. Like you don’t go down lower than that. It was rock bottom. I was so embarrassed, you know what I mean? I was like, ‘Wow, I can’t. I have to turn this into something. I can’t go down like this. Like, if I can do music, then maybe just everything will be OK.'”

She and Shelton bonded on The Voice over their respective divorces and confirmed exclusively to Us Weekly in November 2015 that they were an item.
