Those dimples! Four days after his divorce was finalized from Miranda Lambert, a newly single Blake Shelton looked happy in a selfie posted to his Twitter on Thursday, July 23.
"Hanging out with my @Lauriepoz…" the Voice coach, 39, wrote, alongside a snap with his pal. "She's so weird."
In the pic — the first selfie to be shared by Shelton since his split — the country superstar grins and flashes his trademark dimples.
Shelton and Lambert finalized their divorce on Monday, July 20, hours after country's favorite couple announced in a joint statement to Us Weekly that their four-year marriage was over. "This is not the future we envisioned," the couple told Us at the time. "And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately."
In court records obtained by Us, it was revealed that Shelton initiated the divorce on July 6, having his attorney file the documents in his native Oklahoma. The couple had a pre-nuptial agreement, which expedited their divorce process.
Shelton was first to break his silence via social media following his surprise split, sharing several lighthearted tweets this week that were completely unrelated to his romantic personal life. "Just got off the treadmill," he wrote on Tuesday, July 21, breaking his silence a day after his split news was revealed. "This calls for a drink. Bitch…" Shelton also wrote this week that he was back in the coach's chair on NBC's The Voice.
Lambert, meanwhile, has yet to break her silence on social media, but she made her first post-split appearance in Nashville, on Wednesday, July 22. The "Over You" songstress joined her best friend Ashley Monroe for an album release party. An observer at the event told Us that Lambert looked beautiful, and seemed emotional at times as she supported her pal.
Despite their brave faces, sources tell Us Weekly in the Aug. 3 cover story that both stars are broken up by their divorce. One insider tells Us that Lambert is "heartbroken, sad, and confused" by the split, while another adds that Shelton is "just devastated" by his second marriage ending.
