Silver fox on the loose! Showing his age (and sustained handsomeness!), Brad Pitt was snapped on the London set of his new movie, War Machine, on Wednesday, Oct. 14, rocking trim gray tresses.

The Oscar winner, 51, who was joined on set by his youngest children, 7-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, modeled the silver hue while clad in fatigues and combat boots. (Pitt also shares four more children with his wife of one year, Angelina Jolie.)

The actor stars in the Netflix-distributed satirical comedy, which is inspired by Michael Hastings' first-person account, The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America's War in Afghanistan. Pitt's character, a general, is reportedly modeled after the controversial Stanley McChrystal, who commanded the U.S. and international armed forces in Afghanistan.

Pitt can next be seen on the big screen in the November release By the Sea, in which he costars with Jolie, who also directed the film. On re-teaming with her husband for the drama, about a couple struggling through relationship issues, the brunette beauty told Vogue, "It's not autobiographical. Brad and I have our issues… but if the characters were even remotely close to our problems, we couldn't have made the film."
