Brittany Snow is reflecting on her divorce from Tyler Stanaland three years later.
“I will say now, looking back at that time, I am so grateful that I went through that because the person that I am and the partner I’m with now, it’s just so different, and I can’t believe I’m grateful for my divorce,” the Hunting Wives star, 40, said during the Monday, November 2, episode of Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast.
Snow also recalled the immediate aftermath of her separation from her ex.
“I was 37, and I was living in an Airbnb, just staring at my dog, being like, ‘I don’t know what’s going to happen. It’s just you and me, kiddo, and we’re going to try to rebuild this,’” she continued. “I really appreciated so many women friends of mine that were like, ‘That happened to me.’ And, you know, I would go on Reddit and look up stories from women going through things in their late 30s and finding people later in life, and we have to make it what we make of it.”
Snow tied the knot with Stanaland, 37, in March 2020, one day before the COVID lockdown began. The pair announced their separation two years later.
“After time and consideration, Britt and I have made the difficult decision to separate. This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another,” Stanaland wrote via Instagram in September 2022. “We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives.”
The Selling the OC alum continued, “We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie. We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.”
Snow filed for divorce from Stanaland in January 2023, citing irreconcilable differences. The terms were finalized that July.
Snow previously opened up about her divorce on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast in March 2024, admitting that Stanaland’s appearance on Selling the OC “burnt” down their relationship. (After the Netflix show premiered in August 2022, Stanaland made headlines for exhibiting flirty behavior with his Oppenheim Group colleagues.)
“I was not aware of a lot of things, and I’ll say that,” Snow said. “So, I will say, what people think happened, happened.”
Stanaland later denied being unfaithful to Snow during their marriage.
“Accusations of infidelity couldn’t be further from the truth,” he wrote via social media. “I will be making no further comments on this matter.”
Following her divorce from Stanaland, Snow moved on with photographer Hunter Moreno in 2024. Us confirmed the pair’s engagement in November 2025.
Stanaland, meanwhile, married Hannah Morrissey in November 2025. The couple announced in May that they are expecting their first baby.
