As Bruce Jenner conducted his final interview as Bruce Jenner — and announced to the world that he’s a woman — his Hollywood peers took to Twitter to offer their support, praising him for his bravery.

Transgender actress Laverne Cox congratulated Jenner on his decision to come forward, tweeting at the reality star: “Sending lots of love and support to #BruceJenner and their family tonight. It is always brave to stand in one's truth. Congrats darling.”

Lady Gaga was also one of the first celebrities to offer her support, tweeting a series of tweets, including one that dubbed Jenner’s confession a true act of bravery.

Liza Minnelli told Us: "Bruce Jenner has always been and always will be the epitome of courage and strength. However, it takes a true champion to be true to who they really are."

Yolanda Foster also wrote a touching message via Instagram. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star's husband David Foster was previously married to Jenner's second wife, Linda Thompson. "With an open heart & an open mind we watched Bruce last night, I woke up with such a strong sense of compassion and feel blessed with a deeper understanding of this valuable conversation that will hopefully inspire many and save lives. Thank you #BruceJenner for sharing and daring to live an authentic Life, true to you! #MalibuLovesUJustTheWayUAre #WeAreYourVillage."
