Ladies of the world, get ready to stuff the ballot box! Bryce Dallas Howard is officially starting the campaign to get Chris Pratt to run for president. “As far as I’m concerned: Chris Pratt for president! He’d save us,” Howard, 34, told HuffPost Live in a June 1 interview promoting her and Pratt’s latest flick Jurassic World.
Howard told HuffPost Live that for starters, Pratt’s gorgeous face would look mighty good on campaign posters. “He’s strong, and he has great eyes,” Howard said of her costar, 35.
She was also quick to praise Pratt’s merits other than good genes. “He’s hilarious, charming, and all those things, but the guy is kind and has impeccable integrity. He’s a really special individual,” she said.
While filming Jurassic World, Howard and the film’s crew easily picked up on just how much Pratt’s star was on the rise. “Seeing him work in this movie — which happened right before Guardians of the Galaxy came out — we could all feel [how special he was]. It’s impossible to not,” Howard told HuffPost Live of the actor, who also received early fan and critical acclaim as Bright Abbott on Everwood (2002-2006).
“When Guardians did so well, I thought ‘We need guys like this — guys of this quality to be public figures.’ He’s a great example for all of us,” Howard confirmed.
Pratt isn’t shy about showing love for his country, either. On May 27, the star posted an adorable Facebook video of the star teaching his 2-year-old son, Jack, the Pledge of Allegiance. “I’m proud to be American. I’m blessed to get to travel the world!” Pratt, married to Anna Faris since 2009, wrote.
