Chad Lowe and his wife, Kim Painter, have reportedly put their Los Angeles home on the market after the untimely death of their 13-year-old daughter, Fiona.
Lowe, 58, and Painter, 52, recently put their four-bedroom house up for sale, according to real estate records viewed by TMZ on Saturday, October 31. The outlet also reported that the couple accepted an offer for $3.249 million, contingent on certain conditions being met.
Lowe and Painter, who purchased the property in March 2025 months after losing their house in the devastating Palisades wildfires, have not publicly addressed the real estate move. Us has reached out for comment.
One month earlier, Lowe and Painter announced that their 13-year-old daughter had died by suicide. (They also share daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.)
“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” Lowe and Painter wrote in a September statement, remembering Fiona as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance.”
They continued at the time, “She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time. Fiona’s older sister, Mabel, has also been candid about grieving the death of her sibling.
“I love you so much, Fiona ❤️. I wish your short time here was easier and I hope your mind is at ease now,” she wrote via Instagram on October 3. “I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I love you, I hope you knew just how much.”
Lowe, for his part, returned to social media days later to repost a poignant message about grief and healing.
“We both possess the human and the divine,” Gerry Hussey said during a 2025 appearance on the “Of Healing” podcast, which Lowe shared via his Instagram Stories on October 8. “Through consciousness and awareness when we awaken the peaceful observer and we get beyond our physical human emotions and our physical human needs and the needs of the ego, and we just let go and we release all that and we connect to a feeling, that is the divine frequency.”
Two days later, the Pretty Little Liars alum and Painter made a joint appearance with Mabel and Nixie at nephew Matthew Lowe’s wedding to Emily Markus.
