Colin Jost ‘Wants to Marry’ Scarlett Johansson

Relationship update: Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost is envisioning forever with Scarlett Johansson.

Six months after the pair were spotted on a date in NYC, the comic, 35, is “telling friends he wants to marry her,” a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. Until then, though, he’s content to have the twice-wed star (mom of 3-year-old Rose) on his arm. “He loves to take her out and show her off,” the source says of Jost, who briefly held hands with the Avengers: Infinity War star, 33, on the NBC show’s December 16 episode. “He’s head over heels.”

Although they have been spotted out together on several occasions, the duo made their first public appearance as a couple in November at the American Museum of Natural History Gala.

The same month, they were spotted kissing in New York City after leaving an SNL party at Vandal together. “Scarlett and Colin looked very happy together,” an onlooker said at the time. “He was very protective over her as they were leaving [Vandal]. He tried blocking her from the photographers and the rain at the same time as they left.”

While they’ve rarely spoken about each other in public, Jost did gush about his girlfriend at the Emmy Awards in September. “She’s wonderful. She’s working, so otherwise, she’d be here,” he told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “She’s pretty cool. It’s hard to have a lot of complaints, she’s pretty awesome … I’m very happy. I feel very lucky.”

In January, Johansson separated from Romain Dauriac, with whom she shares Rose. The actress was previously married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011.
