The pair are back on after splitting briefly in December 2015.

As previously reported by Us Weekly, McDaid proposed to the Cougar Town actress in June 2014 following her 2010 split from husband David Arquette. Amid planning their nuptials — set in Northern Ireland — the lovebirds abruptly called off their engagement.

“We were engaged for over a year, and then we broke up,” the Friends alum later explained to survivalist Bear Grylls during an August 2016 appearance on NBC’s Running Wild With Bear Grylls. “There’s something about … you know, he’s from Ireland. And the way he regards love is precious,” she said. “We have to treat it in a different way. It’s more special … You coddle it. So, I didn’t know how to regard love the way he does. And I made a lot of mistakes that I see, whether it’s codependency or people-pleasing. I didn’t know how to bring it in. It was always external. I definitely have learned a lot, and no matter what, I will be a better person from that breakup, even though it was so brutal.”

After rekindling their romance, Cox confirmed to Us that she and her groom-to-be were indeed back on during a red carpet appearance at the BMI Awards in May.

“Well, we love each other, and we are — yes, we’re happy!” the actress told Us.

“I don’t know if you can put a label on what makes us work so well,” McDaid added. “But I know that I’ve never loved like I love this woman. So if that’s enough, then that’s enough.”

This will be the second marriage for Cox, who shares 12-year-old daughter Coco with Arquette.
