Looks like Drew Kenney made a love connection on The Bachelorette after all! Two months after America watched Desiree Hartsock break his heart on the final episode of the ABC reality series' ninth season, the Scottsdale, Ariz., native has moved on — with Bachelorette host Chris Harrison's assistant! A source reveals to Us Weekly exclusively that Kenney, 27, is dating Vanessa Magos, 23.
"She's a good girl and perfect for him," the insider says of Magos, who hails from San Diego, went to Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif., and now works for ABC star Harrison, 42. "They have a lot in common, and he is crazy about her."
In fact, Kenney himself hinted on Twitter last month that he was "falling" for someone new. "Most of me knows my vulnerability makes me human and alive, the rest of me is terrified of it," he wrote on Sept. 23. "I guess that's why they call it falling." (A separate source counters that the pair are "just friends.")
As recently as Sept. 10, though, he claimed he was still single. "No girlfriend for me yet, but let me know if you think you may know someone who could be a good fit!" he wrote to a fan.
The Bachelorette alum, who made it to the final two after frontrunner Brooks Forester bowed out of the competition, won viewers' hearts last season with his sexy good looks and sweet personality. But in the end, he failed to win Hartsock's heart; she chose and got engaged to Chris Siegfried instead.
"Every time I see her, every time I'm with her, I fall more and more in love with her," Kenney gushed of Hartsock, 27, prior to his elimination. "I've been waiting a long time for this moment. I've finally found The One, my soul mate. I would get on a knee today and ask her to marry me."
