Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin are officially a family of three.
After welcoming their first child earlier this month, Sprouse, 34, revealed what he and Palvin, 32, named their baby girl.
“It’s been almost two weeks now since she’s been out,” Sprouse shared during the Tuesday, September 29, episode of his “Wildmen” podcast, which he cohosts with his friend Brendan Columbus. “She’s very lovely. Her name is Sylvie. Baby Sylvie. Sylvie Sprouse. She is a very well-behaved baby.”
Sprouse went on to say that he and Palvin, who tied the knot in July 2023, felt “really blessed” to have a “safe and healthy delivery.”
“Baby Sylvie came out 7.8 pounds. Big baby. Apparently, the doctor said she was long,” Spouse said, joking that she didn’t look like him. “She is completely healthy. Cried the second she was born, which is good, and was a chubby, little cutie pie.”
On Monday, September 28, Sprouse and Palvin took to Instagram to announce that their little one had been born. In the pic, all three of the family members wore Los Angeles Dodgers jerseys while watching a game on TV. “We took Labor Day literally this year 👼🏻,” the model wrote.
Palvin and Sprouse met in September 2017 at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party, where the Victoria’s Secret Angel famously cut the Suite Life of Zack & Cody alum in line for the red carpet. He then slid into her DMs, but she admittedly “ghosted him” for six months. In June 2018, the pair made their relationship official.
The following year, Palvin and Sprouse moved in together in Brooklyn. In September 2022, Sprouse got down on one knee and proposed to Palvin in Big Sur, California, but they didn’t announce it until June 2023.
“We didn’t necessarily feel the need to be fully transparent with the public about that aspect of our engagement,” Sprouse explained to V Magazine.
Palvin added, “Also, we just want to do it on our time. When some people leaked the information that we got engaged, our PR team was like, ‘Hey, so you guys should do maybe a post about it or talk to this magazine or talk to that magazine…’ That really annoyed me because I knew we were building this story up. So, I’m very happy that we ended up doing it our way.”
One month after they announced their engagement, Palvin and Sprouse tied the knot at her family’s house in Hungary. She Palvin debuted her baby bump at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
