Going their separate ways. Hilary Swank has called off her two-month engagement to her tennis coach fiancé, Ruben Torres, the actress' rep confirms to Us Weekly.
The two-time Oscar winner, 41, announced in March that Torres popped the question after more than a year of dating.
"Went on a hike and this happened! I am so happy to share with you all, the engagement to my dear Ruben. #Engaged," Swank captioned an Instagram photo of the couple on March 22. The snapshot has since been deleted.
Swank was recently photographed not wearing her diamond ring at the 2016 French Open in Paris on Saturday.
Despite the split, Swank has carried on posting positive messages to her Instagram account. "You've got what it takes, but it will take everything you've got," she shared on May 24. On Sunday, she added, "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."
Swank was previously married to actor Chad Lowe from 1997 to 2007. "In life we have expectations of how things should turn out … Ending my marriage isn't something I take lightly," she told Marie Claire in March 2007 of the breakup. "But it was the right thing to do."
