But did Jen bring a meat trifle for dessert? Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow waxed nostalgic once again when they reunited for dinner in West Hollywood on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
The former costars had a "laughter-filled dinner" at Sunset Tower, a source tells Us Weekly. The low-key evening occurred just three days after the 20th anniversary of the premiere of Friends was marked with thousands of tributes and remembrances online. The trio joined forces on the small screen late last month for a funny skit on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Viewers argued that Aniston appeared to be angry having to reprise her role as Rachel Green, which the late-night host later denied.
"Of course, we were acting," Kimmel told the audience on Aug. 28. "It was acting. Everybody knew it was gonna happen, we rehearsed it backstage, it was scripted out. The idea was that I would force Jennifer into this mini Friends reunion, and she pretended to be annoyed by it."
Someone who did air their Friends frustrations recently? None other than Cox. The Cougar Town actress admitted she wasn't fond of all the attention Aniston received for her famous Rachel haircut during the ABC talk show on Sept. 22. (Aniston's character, of course, stole her thunder often!)
"You know what? It kind of bums me out," the lusciously-lock'd Cox joked. "I kept changing mine, like, 'If you don't like it I'll just keep doing it,' and they never stuck!"
