The couple that campaigns together! Jennifer Lawrence and her new beau, Darren Aronofsky, helped encourage students at Duke University to vote on Tuesday, November 8. According to a Twitter user, Aronofsky bribed students to vote in exchange for a FaceTime call with the Hunger Games actress.
“When Jennifer Lawrence’s boyfriend is on campus bribing students to go vote in exchange for a FaceTime with her 😂😂 #ElectionDay,” the Twitter user shared.
Another student named Ethan Udell posted a photo on Twitter of Aronofsky showing off his iPhone while FaceTiming with Lawrence.

“I just casually FaceTimed with Jennifer Lawrence. Darren Aronofsky is the man 👌,” Udell shared, along with the adorable snap of Aronofsky grinning from ear to ear as Lawrence could be seen on the screen.
Udell told Us that Lawrence, despite being in a bathrobe, was game to talk with the students.
“She was supercool and friendly. They cracked a couple of jokes. Someone cracked a joke about how with this election coming up we need her to volunteer as tribute to save the country,” Udell recalled of the moment. “She was laughing along with it. It wasn’t, like, superlong or formal or anything, but it was just like pretty cool. It was a little reward for kids going out and voting.”
Udell added that Aronofsky also offered to pay for cars to get the students to and from the polling centers.
The Oscar winner, 26, and Black Swan director, 47, were first spotted together leaving L.A.’s Commissary restaurant last month. On November 2 and 3, the pair went public with their romance, strolling around New York City and packing on the PDA.
“They get along really well, and it’s easy right now,” a source close to Lawrence previously told Us of the duo, who met on set of their upcoming film Mother.
