After the Times’ reporter listed off the drama surrounding Lawrence the past years — her nude photos being hacked, her Hunger Games salary leaked — the Oscar nominee joked, “Could you maybe rattle off a few more mortifying things about me?,” before admitting that she actually feels “calmer” now and “more in control.”

Although she opined there’s “no point to feel anxious all day,” she said she’s still “scared to say anything.” Ironically, however, and in true J.Law form, she opened up about just about everything.

Read the best quotes from her interview below:

On Googling Herself: “You try being 22, having a period and staying away from Google. I once Googled ‘Jennifer Lawrence Ugly.’ [Laughs] Do I sound bitchy?”

On How She Deals With Anxiety: “I have a prescription.”

On Life In the Public Eye: “I find a certain peace by thinking of me in public as sort of an avatar self. You out there can have the avatar me. I can keep me. And I just try to acknowledge that this scrutiny is stressful, and that anyone would find it stressful. So I’ve got to try to let it go, and try to be myself, and focus on important things, like picking up dog poop.”

So I’m there, and people start singing Happy Birthday. Kris Jenner comes out holding my cake. It was the closest I’ve ever come to losing consciousness. I had no idea! I’d never met her before, but we’ve always watched Keeping Up With the Kardashians. And then Kris Jenner and I sang “Build Me Up Buttercup” on karaoke and took that picture.”

On Wrapping Hunger Games With Her Costars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, and Woody Harrelson: “We were kind of freaked out that something was ending. And I was like, ‘Was I amazing?’ And then Josh called me and told me he had a dream about Woody. And then my friend came over to my house and told me she had a sex dream about Liam.
