His troubles continue. Baywatch alum Jeremy Jackson was arrested for allegedly stabbing a man with a knife in L.A.'s Westlake neighborhood on Friday, April 24, the Los Angeles Times reports.
According to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, Jackson, 34, fled the scene before authorities arrived. The unidentified victim suffered a stab wound to his left upper torso, and identified the assailant as "Hobie," which is Jackson's character's name from the lifeguard series.
The following day, police received a call that a suspicious man was walking around the same neighborhood. It turned out to be Jackson, who was later arrested, and released on bail the same day. Jackson later told TMZ that the stabbing was in self-defense.
Jackson has had run-ins with the law before. The star, who played Hobie Buchannon on Baywatch from 1991 to 1999, was arrested in 2005 for setting up a home meth lab. He's also struggled with drug and alcohol addiction for years.
In 2011, Jackson tried to clean up his act by appearing on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. Four years later, however, he was kicked out of Celebrity Big Brother UK for exposing castmate Chloe Goodman's breast on live TV while intoxicated.
