It’s a prison placement straight out of Bravo! Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice will be starting his 41-month sentence in early 2016, and when he enters his facility, he will see a familiar face (well, sort of).
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida, the estranged husband of Phaedra Parks, is already serving time in the Fort Dix, New Jersey, jail where Giudice, 43, will be checking in. Parks, 44, confirmed this news to host Andy Cohen during the Sunday, December 13, episode of Watch What Happens Live.
“Phaedra, I read last week that Apollo is being transferred to the same facility that Joe Giudice will be reporting to in February,” Cohen asked the Georgia peach.
“He’s there,” she confirmed of Nida, 37. “No, he hasn’t [previously met Giudice]. I’m sure they haven’t crossed paths, but I guess they will now.”
Joe’s sentence comes after his wife, Teresa Giudice, has served most of her 15-month sentence at a correctional institute in Connecticut. She is set to be released early, in time to spend Christmas with her family. The reality star couple received separate sentences for fraud but were allowed to serve them apart so their four daughters could have constant care.
On the last season of RHOA, Parks admitted she has not filed for divorce from Nida, who began his eight-year prison sentence for bank fraud in September 2014, in order to have time to make the right decision for their family. They share young sons Dylan, 2, and Ayden, 5.
