It's just two days into the new year, but 2014 is already off to a great start for Kaley Cuoco and her new husband, tennis pro Ryan Sweeting. On Wednesday, Jan. 1 — just hours after the couple said "I do" in a romantic New Year's Eve wedding — the groom, 26, took to Instagram to gush about their Dec. 31 nuptials.
"My cheeks hurt from smiling so hard," he captioned a photo of the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Sweeting sharing a kiss at the ceremony. "Best night in history."
Then, alongside another picture of the two walking down the aisle after their vows, he wrote, "Says it all. Magical."
His wife, 27, was similarly effusive about the big day. "Greatest night of my entire life," the Big Bang Theory actress shared on Instagram, along with a snapshot of her petal pink Vera Wang gown. "Last night I married my sweetheart. 🙂 Life couldn't be sweeter."
Later, she posted a photo of the two holding hands and grinning as they greeted well-wishers. "My fairy-tale ending," she captioned the pic. "Or beginning, I should say!"
As previously reported, Cuoco and Sweeting tied the knot at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Southern California on New Year's Eve. Among the famous faces in attendance were Bachelorette alum Ali Fedotowsky and Big Bang Theory actor Johnny Galecki, whom Cuoco dated secretly for two years.
"From day one, I just knew immediately, and it's been magic," the actress told Entertainment Tonight of her relationship with Sweeting, to whom she got engaged after just three months of dating. "I kind of feel like I've known him my whole life."
