More than friends? Khloe Kardashian and NBA player Tristan Thompson have been spotted together as of late, and on Thursday, September 1, the pair jetted off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, together for the holiday weekend.
According to a source, Kardashian’s BFFs Malika and Khadijah Haqq were along for the ride, and the group touched down in Cabo via private jet on Thursday night.
Earlier in the day on Thursday, the 32-year-old reality star and the 25-year-old athlete were spotted together checking out a modern Beverly Hills estate, smiling and showing off their impressive physiques.
Kardashian wore a long black tank dress and a wide-brim black hat; Thompson wore a black tank top and black workout short. Both donned black slide sandals to complete their monochromatic ensembles.
A few days earlier, the pair were both out partying at Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood and left within minutes of each other, according to TMZ.
Kardashian filed for divorce from ex Lamar Odom for the second time earlier this summer, and the pair have been decidedly estranged since then, with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star posting the occasional cryptic quote and Odom, 36, making headlines for his return to strip clubs following their split.
The former NBA player was hospitalized last October after being discovered unconscious at a Nevada brothel; he has refused to check himself into rehab, per his family’s wishes this summer.
A family source told Us that Odom’s kids, Destiny and Lamar Jr., are “so upset” about his behavior. “[The athlete] says he is not going back to Los Angeles,” the insider told Us. “He wants to rebuild his life in New York — but that’s not really happening.”
