Ticktock, baby. Ticktock. Kim Kardashian’s patience is wearing thin as she awaits the arrival of her second child, a boy, and on Friday, Dec. 4, the reality star took to Instagram to express her emotions.
“Ready whenever you are lol,” she captioned a selfie of herself in the bathroom mirror in nothing but a black sports bra and sweats. The usually glamorous mom-to-be hides her face behind the flash of the phone camera and keeps all the attention on her bulging baby belly.
Kardashian, 35, has been very vocal about her difficult second pregnancy. Earlier in the week, the pregnant reality star shared an update with fans on her blog with a post titled, “Baby West Update: All Turned Around!”
“So I wanted to give you guys an update on my pregnancy since my last post,” she wrote. “This weekend, I checked into the hospital and underwent a procedure called an ECV (External Cephalic Version, or a Version), which is done to manually turn the baby from a breech position to a head-down position. They gave me an IV with medication to relax my uterus, and then three doctors attempted to work together to turn the baby.”
Kardashian and her husband, rapper Kanye West, are already parents to daughter North, 2. And given that Kardashian has previously blogged that she feels “fat as f–k” at nine months pregnant and that her “cankles are out of control,” it would appear that the reality star wants to stop at two children.
In a preview clip for Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, however, she tells a surprised mom Kris Jenner that she’s already thinking ahead to baby No. 3.
After complaining that she’s already gained 25 pounds in the first half of her pregnancy, Kardashian is reassured by Jenner, 60, that the Selfish author was in the best shape of her life after giving birth to North.
“Oh no, I’m not worried about after,” Kardashian responds. “I’m just thinking about No. 3.”
“Whoa, can we just slow down and have No. 2?” Jenner says.
