This Housewife is in the eye of the storm. Hours after she was arrested for public intoxication, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards stepped out of her home on Thursday, April 16.

Richards, 50, was dressed casually in a plaid shirt, black vest, and gray baseball cap. In one hand she juggled a large glass of ice water, along with her iPhone, and keys.

The Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly on Thursday that Richards was arrested after causing a ruckus inside the swanky Polo Lounge located inside the Beverly Hills Hotel, and subsequently involved in a drunken confrontation with police.

According to the BHPD, hotel security reported that "an intoxicated female," later determined as the RHOBH star, was asked to leave the premises. Prior to being escorted off the property, Kyle Richards' sister asked to use the restroom, where she remained and refused to leave until police arrived.

"Hotel security made a private persons arrest, at which time BHPD officers entered the restroom and took Ms. Richards into custody at 2:04 a.m.," the official police statement read. "Ms. Richards was displaying symptoms of alcohol intoxication including slurred speech and belligerent insolent behavior cursing at the officers and passively resisted arrest."

When Richards was booked, the police report stated, she kicked an officer in the leg. "However the officer was not injured," the BHPD told Us in their statement. The reality star was released at 10:36 a.m., about nine hours after police first responded to the Beverly Hills Hotel. She was charged with Public Intoxication, Trespassing, Resisting an Officer and Battery on a police officer, and is set to appear in court on June 11.

Richards has yet to comment on the incident. However, her fellow RHOBH stars reacted to the news of her arrest on Thursday afternoon.

"Real friends are there in the good times, the bad times & especially the worst times. I am blessed with real friends & am a real friend myself," wrote Brandi Glanville, who is closest to Kim among the Beverly Hills Housewives. "Wanted to say thank you to @KimRichards11 for donating to our school auction in the middle of all she has going on! so proud of her."
