Moving on. Lea Michele and Robert Buckley have split after a few months of dating, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal.
"[They] just found they were better off as friends and wanted to support each other’s careers," a source tells Us. Additionally, their busy schedules were partially to blame for the breakup.
Us broke the news in May that the Scream Queens actress, 29, and the One Tree Hill alum, 35, introduced via mutual friends, were an item. They were first spotted getting close and affectionate over dinner at Milo & Olive in Santa Monica on May 9.
“They were sitting at the bar all cuddly. He pushed her chair in for her and everything," an onlooker told Us at the time. A second added: “They were interlocked the whole time they were sitting at the counter, like arms wrapped around each other at their seats and rubbing each other’s backs."
Michele and Buckley's romance may be over, but their professional relationship isn't. The actors star in the upcoming sci-fi series Dimension 404. Buckley shared a photo of Michele on set last month.
"So much love for this amazing group of women, their patience with me has been unbelievable," he wrote at the time. "Big thanks to all of the #Dimension404 cast and crew."

Michele also posted a photo of the two in-between takes. "Just us and our very subdued director," she captioned an Instagram pic on June 15. "#oldemoneyboyz #Dimension404."
