They’re officially off the market. Dash Dolls star Malika Haqq and Jersey Shore alum Ronnie Ortiz-Magro are dating after connecting on the set of Famously Single.

“We had a lot in common from the start and it was an instant friendship. The attraction quickly became a mutual romance,” both stars told Us Weekly in a statement on Friday, December 9. “Our support for one another through this challenging experience made us strong in a very short period of time. We had an opportunity to really get to know each other living in such close quarter."

They added that their friends — which likely include Haqq’s BFF Khloé Kardashian — have been rooting for their budding romance. "Our family and friends are aware that we are together and extremely supportive of our relationship,” the statement read.

Fans will see the start of their romance on season 2 of Famously Single, the reality series where eight celebrities move in together and try to solve their relationship issues. Other familiar faces on the upcoming season include Chad Johnson, Karina Smirnoff, David Mcintosh, Tiffany Pollard, Calum Best and Dorothy Wang.

Ortiz-Magro, 31, hinted on Instagram earlier this week that he had a new woman in his life. The former MTV star posted a pic of himself kissing Haqq, but only showed the back of their heads. “#Happiness #FamouslySingleSeason2ComingSoon #Echannel #March #MakeSureaYouKeepUp #NahItAintSamSoStopAsking,” he captioned the sunset snap.

Ortiz-Magro previously dated his Jersey Shore costar Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola on and off for years after first meeting in 2009. They frequently fought and made up on the hit reality show until the series finale aired in December 2012.

Famously Single returns to E! In 2017.
