Former NFL player Marcellus Wiley received a less than magical gift at the Happiest Place on Earth.
According to court documents exclusively obtained by Us Weekly, a process server handed Marcellus, 51, his estranged wife Annemarie Wiley’s request for a domestic violence restraining order on Wednesday, July 8, at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
The complex — located within the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida — features a 9,500-seat stadium, a state-of-the-art indoor arena, two field houses, multiple professional-level fields and more.
While it’s unclear what brought Marcellus to the venue, the former NFL defensive lineman worked at ESPN from 2007 until 2018. During his tenure at the network, which is part of the extended Disney family, he was a studio analyst for First Take and NFL Live.
Court documents show Marcellus was also served a notice of court hearing, request for child custody and visitation orders and more.
Us has reached out to Marcellus and Annemarie’s attorneys for comment.
The couple — who married in June 2014 and share three children together — made headlines when Marcellus was arrested on July 4 for his role in an alleged altercation with Annemarie, 42, during a stay at a Marriott hotel in Florida.

According to court documents obtained by Us, Annemarie filed for divorce from Marcellus in Los Angeles two days later, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason behind their split.
She also filed a request for a domestic violence restraining order. According to docs obtained by Us, Annemarie accused Marcellus of “continuing and escalating pattern of physical violence, sexual abuse, verbal and emotional abuse, financial control and intimidation, much of which our children have witnessed.”
A judge granted Annemarie a temporary restraining order against Marcellus. The former NFL pro was ordered to stay away from Annemarie and their kids until their July 24 hearing about the protective order.
In a statement via X on Tuesday, July 7, Marcellus denied Annemarie’s “baseless claims” and said he is “prepared to address these allegations and related matters through the legal process and with evidence.”
He added, “My focus remains on my children, my integrity and the truth.”
The pair have also been ordered to participate in mediation regarding custody and visitation of their three kids.
