Nick Gordon's lawyers released a statement on Feb. 12, saying he will not file legal action to visit Bobbi Kristina Brown in the hospital, and that his "only concern" is her recovery.

Nick Gordon will be monitoring from a distance. Bobbi Kristina Brown's longtime love released a statement through his lawyers on Friday, Feb. 13, saying he would not be taking legal action to be by her bedside at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.

"In response to reports that Nick Gordon is taking legal action, he would like it to be clear, he is not," Gordon's attorneys Randy Kessler and Joe Habachy told Us Weekly. "Mr. Gordon's only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina."

Like the Brown and Houston families, Gordon has been steadfast in prayer and hope. "He remains in constant prayer for his companion," the statement continued, "and he hopes to be reunited with her soon. Despite the incredible public interest, we ask and hope that this request can be resolved privately by Mr. Gordon and the family."

Gordon's lawyers' statement came as a clarification after Bobbi Kristina's cousin Jerod Brown, the son of Tina Brown, gave an interview and touched on why Gordon had not visited his girlfriend at Emory since she was transferred last Monday, Feb. 2.

In March 2014, Marion Houston (the wife of Whitney's brother Gary and executor of Bobbi's trust fund) filed a restraining order against Gordon, accusing him of threatening and stalking her, according to Page Six.

"At the moment, he's not [allowed to visit]," Jerod told local NBC affiliate WXIA. "I'm in contact with Nick. To be honest with you, Nick is feeling very emotional right now behind all of this. He's pretty torn about about what's going on."

According to Jerod, he has personally served as a mediator between Gordon and the family. "We sit down and talk about things he wants my family to know and what we would love for Krissy to know," Jerod explained. "And that is that he loves her and is just waiting for her to wake up."

Bobbi Kristina has now been in a medically induced coma for 14 days, after she was found facedown and unresponsive in her and Gordon's Roswell home on Jan. 31. "The act of being well again would be a miracle," Jerod said of the R&B scion. "Right now, we have the chance to save Bobbi Kristina and the best way we can save her right now is through prayer."

This past week, the Roswell Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly that a neighbor had reported a domestic dispute at Gordon and Brown's address one week before the bathtub incident. Police also confirmed to Us that four days before on Jan. 27, Bobbi was involved in a car crash.

Meanwhile, Gordon is under investigation for unexplained injuries found on Bobbi's body. Police confirmed to Us that the entire Bobbi Kristina Brown case is being treated as a criminal investigation.
