No longer in chains! Nick Jonas opened up about two of his famous exes, Miley Cyrus and Olivia Culpo, in a candid new interview with Entertainment Weekly.

The “Close” singer, who is currently single, dated Cyrus — then a squeaky-clean Disney Channel star, just like him — for 18 months before splitting in 2007. The pair have gone on to achieve successful music careers, but have not kept in touch.

“I don’t have a relationship with her now really, but that’s not because we have any bad blood—we just sort of run in different circles,” Jonas, 23, explained. “I love ‘Wrecking Ball’ so much. I still think its one of the best pop songs of the last 10 years. And you know, she’s always been outspoken and authentic to who she is, so it was only a matter of time before she really owned that, and I’m proud of her. … It’s a lot like watching your high school crush do well, just on a bigger scale.”

Last month, Jonas revealed that Cyrus, 23, was the first person he ever kissed. “I kissed her outside of California Pizza Kitchen in Hollywood — very romantic,” he told BBC’s Radio 1 on April 13. “I’d just had a pizza that had onions all over it. I’m sure that my breath smelled terrible.”

Jonas and Cyrus met during their Disney Channel days while starring on their respective TV shows, Camp Rock and Hannah Montana. Other kid stars who rose to fame during that era include Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez (who Jonas also dated) and, of course, Jonas’ brothers Joe and Kevin Jonas. (Jonas is currently performing with good pal Lovato on The Future Now Tour.)

“There’s a camaraderie there, a sort of unspoken brother- and sisterhood,” the “Levels” singer told the mag. “If you want to talk about that graduating class of 2008, I’m really proud — it’s a really good group.”

Jonas’ romance with Cyrus isn’t his only relationship to make headlines. The hunky star recently had a fling with Kate Hudson and split from Miss Universe Olivia Culpo in 2015 after two years of dating.

“I haven’t heard from her in a year,” Jonas told EW of Culpo. “I don’t know if I’ll hear from her again. I’m not sure.”

The beauty queen, 24, has been on Jonas’ mind, though. Earlier this month, the singer told OUT magazine that the brunette beauty inspired a lot of his new album, Last Year Was Complicated.

“I’ve thought a lot about whether she’s heard it, and I’m sure she’s heard ‘Champagne Problems’ at this point. The concept of the song, which maybe doesn’t stand out on first listen, is, ‘You’re amazing, you’re all the things I hope to find with somebody, but timing, circumstances, all these things play into it not being right.’ Champagne is amazing; it tastes delicious but gives you a really bad hangover. That’s the idea. …” Jonas told EW. “[But] I haven’t heard from her in a year. I don’t know if I’ll hear from her again. I’m not sure.”
