As they prepare to say goodbye to Gossip Girl, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley are keeping the mood light on set.
The costars of 5 years and former real-life couple of three shared a laugh on the set of Gossip Girl Thursday in NYC. Lively and Badgley, both 25, kept warm in winter coats while chatting between scenes.
The hit CW show began filming it's very last episode on Wednesday. On Tuesday night, Lively made her first red carpet appearance since she married actor Ryan Reynolds, 35, on Sept. 9. "Life is great! the actress told reporters at the Chanel Bijoux De Diamant 80th Anniversary bash.
"I'm happy for her," Badgley told Us Weekly exclusively at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 10 of his Lively's marriage. "Genuinely happy." He added, "Obviously people are going try to connect us in ways in which we're not connected anymore. But it's great. I'm happy for her."

Badgley and Lively met on the set of Gossip Girl and began dating in 2007 before calling it quits in September 2010. After 6 seasons, their working relationship will also be coming to an end.
"Can you believe it?" Lively told reporters Tuesday about filming the last episode. "And they actually don't tell us what happens. But they do reveal who Gossip Girl is — I will say that much."
