What a difference two weeks can make.
Tom Cruise appeared to be blindsided by his wife of five years Katie Holmes' Thursday divorce filing — and with good reason. Just two weeks ago, as this photo shows, the couple strolled hand-in-hand in Iceland June 16, where Cruise is shooting the sci-fi flick, Oblivion.
Around the same time this photo was taken, Holmes, Cruise and their 6-year-old daughter, Suri, spent time as a family during an outing to Sushi Samba restaurant in Iceland's capital city, Reykjavik, over Father's Day weekend.
"They were like all the young families that come in here," an eyewitness said of Cruise and Holmes, who doted on their daughter the entire night. "It's almost impossible to think they're getting divorced because they seemed very happy that night."
Through his rep, Cruise said he was "deeply saddened" to hear of Holmes' divorce filing Friday. Petitioning for sole custody of Suri, Holmes rented her own New York City apartment weeks before filing to divorce her husband Thursday.
