Her Prince Charming awaits! Rebel Wilson knows exactly what she wants in her future boyfriend.
The 38-year-old actress spoke to Us Weekly and other reporters about her love life at the Isn’t It Romantic premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, February 11.
“[I’m looking for a guy with] definitely some kind of strength,” she explained. Later, she joked, “If I feel like I could beat them in a jelly wrestling competition, then maybe that’s not the dude for me.”
Although Wilson has yet to meet The One, her dating experience has been positive. “Every date I’ve been on in the last few years has been very respectful and lovely,” she told Us, noting that she “didn’t really date anybody” in her 20s which is “probably why [she’s] still single.”
The Australian actress may have been blessed with worthy suitors, but many of her friends haven’t been so lucky! “I haven’t had any weird [dating experiences]. My friend had one where, like, the guy asked to lick her armpits on the first date,” Wilson dished. “So luckily I haven’t had anything weird. I haven’t had any crazy experiences yet.”
Wilson, whose last known relationship was with stuntman Aden Stay in 2017, previously joked that her costars’ love lives are rubbing off on her. “@liamhemsworth’s now married, @priyankachopra’s now married — ummm I think ISN’T IT ROMANTIC has the MOST loved up cast ever?” the Pitch Perfect star wrote via Instagram in December 2018. “So I’m pretty sure I’m next.”
Liam Hemsworth married Miley Cyrus in December after dating for nine years on and off. Priyanka Chopra Jonas also wed Nick Jonas in December nearly seven months after they started dating.
Cyrus, 26, stepped in for her hubby, 29, on Monday at the premiere, as he is recovering after being hospitalized due to kidney stones. “My man’s not well,” the Hannah Montana alum told Us and other reporters at the star-studded event. “I’m representing for him.”
