Jonas bro has game! Rita Ora revealed that Nick Jonas once had a crush on her during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live! on Monday, April 28. The British pop star was taken aback by the news herself, only finding out the truth when she heard a specific lyric in the Jonas Brothers’ 2013 song “What Do I Mean to You?”
“I have heard the song and I have heard that rumor and I really don’t know where it came from. [I] never [dated him],” Ora, 23, told host Andy Cohen. “I actually met Nick through a friend and it was a very weird situation because—obviously I was single at the time. We were close, but it never went to that level. Then I read the lyric and I kind of messaged him and was like, ‘I have no idea where this came from. If you want to talk about it, call me.'” (The lyric in question wasn’t revealed.)
So, did the youngest Jonas (with those rock hard abs!) admit his true feelings? “He was like, ‘You know what, I just obviously didn’t put out how I felt across to you properly,'” Ora said of the 21-year-old. “And it was one of those situations. He never really told me that I think, but regardless we’re still friends and I still have a lot of respect for him.”
The Fifty Shades of Grey actress previously dated Robert Kardashian back in October 2012, and revealed in Glamour UK’s December issue that distance played a part in their split. She’s currently dating Scottish DJ Calvin Harris. Jonas has been dating former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo since last summer.
