Rob Gronkowski is keeping his future plans with his girlfriend of nearly 13 years, Camille Kostek, to himself.
While appearing on the Thursday, September 24, broadcast of Today With Jenna and Sheinelle, guest host Justin Sylvester attempted to grill the NFL vet, 37, about his love life.
“You’ve been together for 13 years. Have you gone to Jared yet?” Sylvester, 39, asked, referring to the jewelry chain. “Are you ring shopping?”
Gronkowski has been dating Kostek, 34, since 2013 after meeting through the New England Patriots. (Gronkowski was a star tight end, while Kostek served on the cheer squad.)
“Not Jared, but that’s a good choice,” the retired football player diplomatically replied. “I got nothing bad to say, but it’s a specialty place if it were to happen.”
When asked whether he was officially on the market for a diamond, Gronkowski once again played coy.
“Oh, you can’t put me on the spot,” he stated.
While Gronkowski shut down further questions about his love life, Kostek has been candid about whether marriage is in the cards.
“If he were to get down on one knee, I’d be excited,” Kostek exclusively told Us in 2022. “He’s my best friend. I would spend the rest of my life with him.”
Calling Gronkowski her “partner,” the model gushed that they were “blessed to wake up next to each other every single day.”
As for a timeline for getting engaged, Kostek wasn’t stressed and noted “when the time is right, it’ll be.”
Nearly four years later, Gronkowski and Kostek are still on their own path.
“When I was 21, I definitely thought I would have been married with kids by now and sometimes I go back and I judge myself — or even now,” Kostek admitted to People in May. “I was talking to Rob’s mom the other day. It was Mother’s Day. I was like, ‘Remind me again when you had your first?’ And she was like, ‘I was 22.’ I sat down and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh. I’m so behind.'”
Gronkowski’s mom, Diane, subsequently informed the former cheerleader that “everyone has their own journey.”
“This is a reminder to self and a reminder to others that we are not meant to follow the same journey,” Kostek said at the time. “There is not a book of life. There is not a right way to live and a wrong way to live. Just letting go and giving yourself that grace. What’s meant for me will never pass me by is such a beautiful feeling and such a beautiful reminder that I always have to bring back to myself.”
