Robert Irwin is officially off the market more than two years after his split from Rorie Buckey.
After winning over the hearts of viewers on Dancing With the Stars season 34, Irwin, 22, is dating wildlife photographer Ashleigh Scully, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.
Scully, 24, has been “traveling all over” with Irwin “for months,” the insider says, adding that the new couple’s jetsetting has included “some stops on the Dancing With the Stars Tour.”
Irwin — who is the son of the late Steve Irwin and Terri Irwin — and Scully, both photographers, have reportedly known each other since 2019. However, they sparked romance rumors in March after being photographed together in Australia.
In a picture published by TMZ on March 24, Scully was spotted getting out of Robert’s car as they arrived at the set of Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro. The reality show has been filming on the Gold Coast and will feature Robert as the host as he hunts for the next professional dancer to be on the main broadcast.
Robert wore a navy polo shirt and jeans in the photo as she smiled and looked on lovingly toward Scully.
Scully, who is from New Jersey, wore a black tank top, matching sunglasses and was carrying a jacket as she got out of the car. She had a big smile on her face as the pair walked through a parking garage.
Us Weekly has reached out to Robert’s rep for comment.
After the outing, eagle-eyed fans did a deep dive on social media and noticed that Robert and Scully had recently gone deep-sea diving together along with DWTS alum Dylan Efron, who became friends with Robert on season 34 of the hit series. (Robert won the mirrorball trophy with partner Witney Carson that season.)
“Our underwater Jive is coming soon 🤞@robertirwinphotography,” Efron, 34, wrote via Instagram on February 3, sharing a group photo that included Robert and Scully in scuba gear.
Robert’s budding romance with Scully comes more than two years after he split from Buckey, 22.
The conservationist and zookeeper made his red carpet debut with Buckey in July 2023 while attending the premiere for Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 in Sydney. The pair were first linked in November 2022 after being spotted on a date in Brisbane, Australia.
Buckey announced in February 2024 that she and Robert had parted ways.
“We wanted to share that we have decided to go our separate ways but profoundly appreciate all of the time spent together and wish one another all the very best into the future,” Buckey wrote in an Instagram Story statement, signed by both her and Robert. “We wish to express the gratitude and respect we have for one another as we continue on our journeys to different paths.”
Scully, for her part, hasn’t shared much about her relationship history publicly. Her career, however, is another story. She’s been a wildlife photographer since she was 8 years old. While she grew up in New Jersey, she is based in Jackson, Wyoming, according to her official website.
“My photography journey has taken me all over the world, from Tanzania to British Columbia Svalbard, Norway and Tonga,” she wrote in her bio. “I specialize in shots of bears, owls and foxes and have just begun my underwater photography journey!”
Scully is a graduate from Texas Christian University, where she competed as an equestrian for five years. After earning her bachelors and masters in literature, she returned to photography as her full-time career.
Her most-recent venture was going “off the grid” in Alaska at the end of May into early June for a glacial mountaineering trip.
“Born to build igloos, forced to boil snow,” Scully captioned a series of Instagram photos from the adventure in June. “Camp🤘🏼.”
