What’s the big rush? Robert Pattinson and his fiancee, singer FKA twigs, are not only happily engaged, they’re “excited to be married,” a source close to the couple tells Us Weekly.
“Twigs is still enormously happy with Rob and they aren’t rushing to have the wedding,” the source says. “Things couldn’t be better.”
Twilight hunk Pattinson, 29, and the “Two Weeks” songstress, 27, got engaged after just six months of dating, Us Weekly confirmed in early April. (Rapper T-Pain accidentally let the cat out of the bag in an interview with Vulture, but later backtracked and claimed it was an April Fools’ Day joke).
“They text and talk nonstop when she’s on the road and they are away for work,” the source adds. “They are always talking when they can’t be together.”
Rumors of trouble have swirled around the low-key couple since their engagement news, but the source dismisses them as untrue.
In August, twigs revealed to the Sunday Times that she would rather live life out of the spotlight.
“I don’t understand what the levels [of fame] are,” the British musician told the Times. “I’m a bit naive. I don’t read Heat [magazine], for example. I don’t engage in that world, even with myself, even with my own career.”
