Check, please! Sarah Jessica Parker came across a rather large sum of money on the streets of New York City on Thursday, Oct. 2.
Parker, 49, looked street chic as ever for her stroll through Manhattan's West Village neighborhood, wearing an oversized gray sweater, sweatpants, and suede booties.
The Sex and the City star was sharing a conversation with a friend when she spotted the slip of paper. Parker bent down to pick it up, and looked at it with a shocked expression — all while photographers recorded the incident. It turned out that the paper was a check for $4,700.
The Manhattan native recently attended the New York City Ballet's 3rd Annual Fall Fashion Gala, where she told Us Weekly what's inspired her lately. "Honestly, just walking down the street, taking the subway, girls I see," Parker said.
She added, "I live in New York. I see people and things and architecture and piles of garbage all day long and to me it's all interesting and inspiring."
