Supernatural’s Misha Collins “Totally Fine” After Being Attacked and Mugged at Fan Convention

Superhuman strength! Supernatural’s Misha Collins tweeted fans that he’s “totally fine” following a scary incident while he and his costars were attending a Supernatural convention on Friday, Aug. 21.

According to costar Jim Beaver, Collins, 41, was leaving a restaurant in Minneapolis when he was attacked and mugged.

“My buddy and Supernatural colleague Misha Collins was followed out of a restaurant in Minneapolis by three men last night and beaten and robbed,” Beaver wrote in a Facebook post that has since been deleted. “He’s all right, more or less, with some stitches and a fat lip.”

Fans immediately reacted to the news on Twitter, creating the hashtag “#WeLoveYouMisha,” which trended on the social networking site not too long afterward.

Collins, who plays Castiel on the hit CW series, was absent from a panel on Saturday, but reassured fans that he’s doing just fine.

“Hey guys! Thanks for all the well-wishes!” he tweeted on Saturday, Aug. 22. “Just want u to know I’ve just got some minor scrapes. I’m totally fine! Love u guys.”
