Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is a divorcee again. A source confirms to Us Weekly that the reality personality and husband No. 2, Jeremy Calvert, finalized their divorce on Monday, June 8.
Messer, 23, and Calvert, 24, also agreed to the custody terms, which gives Messer custody of the couple’s daughter, Adalynn, 2, another source tells Us. Calvert will have visitation rights.
The young mom is currently in a treatment center and did not attend the hearing, which her lawyer was present for, a source confirms. Messer checked into a treatment facility for a 30-day program to deal with depression and stress, another source close to her told Us earlier this month.
Messer and Calvert’s union has been a rocky one, with rumors of infidelity plaguing the couple during their three-year marriage, and unconfirmed reports of drug use by her. Messer, who was previously married to Corey Simms, admitted during her brief first marriage that she had cheated with an ex-boyfriend just prior to her first wedding. She has twin daughters Ali and Aleeah, 5, with Simms.
MTV’s cameras have been documenting Messer and Calvert’s dissolving union for Season 6 of the series, which returns Thursday, July 9, at 10 p.m. ET.
